Why we do this
Thomas Jefferson in his Preamble to the Declaration of Independence stated:
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain Inalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”
What are these self-evident, inalienable (unalienable) rights? What defines them, and determines their breadth?
How are these rights secured?
On what basis do these rights exist?
What have the greatest thinkers, philosophers and spiritual luminaries throughout history said about these rights?
What role do the people play in declaring (and securing) these rights?
What role does a Declaration play in establishing these rights?
Is “Medical Freedom” or the freedom to decide what “medicine” or healing practice one chooses for one’s body an “Inalienable Right”, that cannot be ruled over by any government on earth?
Do we have an absolute right to “bodily autonomy”?
What other rights do we have, simply by virtue of being born human?
What are the full range of these rights?
What absolute freedoms have been given to us by the Creator that we are just now waking up to recognize?
How do these realizations, and subsequent Declarations, change forever the relationship between the citizens and any and all governments or outside authorities?
